The Wyoming Stockgrowers Association is hosting the Wyoming Cattle Industry Convention and Trade Show beginning tomorrow through Friday at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Riverton. The theme of the convention From the Ranch to the Plate; Understanding the Role of Traceability.
The event also includes a trek to the National Museum of Military Vehicles at Dubois .
On Thursday there will be annual reports from the Wyoming Stock Growers Land Trust, the Wyoming Beef Council, and the Wyoming Cattlewomen. There will be sessions on public land grazing and, the Wyoming Office of the Bureau of Land Management will present an update. Committee meetings will include Private and State Lands, Wildlife, Marketing, Promotion and Enhancement, Brand, Federal Lands, Livestock Health, Ag Tax and Finance and Water.
