Warming Today; Rain totaled nearly two inches at Dubois

The combination of Sunday’s rain and a clearing sky brought patchy fog, especially to the lower elevations Friday Morning. After the fog burns off, it will be a little bit warmer, with another afternoon of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Today’s highs expected to reach into the 80s in the southern Bighorn Basin, in the mid to upper70s at Shoshoni and Riverton, in the Low70s at Lander and Jeffrey City and in the upper 60s at Dubois.

Rainfall totals from Thursday through mid-day Sunday include 1.94” at Dubois, 1.3 to 1.65 inches around Riverton, 1.54 to 1.59” around Lander 1.08 inches at Hamilton Dome, and .98” at Thermopolis. Elsewhere, Cody recorded 1.59”, Meeteetse .55”, Pinedale 1.5 inches, and Rock Springs 1.41 inchesA little bit warmer today, with another afternoon of scattered showers and thunderstorms.
