The Defending World Champion Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps To Perform in Wyoming’s War Memorial Stadium Saturday Night, June 18

Laramie, Wyo. (June 16, 2022) — This Saturday, June 18th, the University of Wyoming will host the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps as they perform their 2022 program, “Tempus Blue”.  The Blue Devils are a competitive marching music ensemble based in Concord, Calif.  The corps has made Laramie their home for their spring training and are excited to perform for the Laramie community before they embark on a cross-country competitive tour.
 
Saturday’s performance is free and open to the public and will take place at War Memorial Stadium.  Gates will open at 7 p.m. and fans may arrive then if they want to watch rehearsal.  At 8:30 p.m., the group will open the show with a welcome and introduction to the night’s program.  The actual performance will begin at 9 p.m.
 

The Blue Devils have won 19 Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championships – more than any other drum and bugle corps.  The Blue Devils won their most recent world championship in 2019, which was the last time the DCI World Championship was awarded.  The Blue Devils have won four of the last six DCI World Championships and eight of the past 13.
