The Wyoming Cowboys (2-2 overall, 2-2 MW) rushed for 399 yards in a 45-14 road win over UNLV (0-5 overall, 0-5 MW) on Friday afternoon in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Utah State at Wyoming game cancelled due to USU Covid infections

Advertisement COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Due to an upward trend of COVID-19 cases within the Utah State football program, the Aggies are unable to participate in the scheduled football game on Thursday, Nov. 19, at Wyoming. The University of Wyoming along with the Mountain West conference released the updated 2020-21 conference basketball schedules for the Cowgirls earlier this week. The new format emphasizes the health and safety of student-athletes, coaches and staff while significantly reducing travel. The Conference has moved to a 20-game schedule under a modified format that will play out over 11 weeks within the context of state, county and local guidelines. The University of Wyoming along with the Mountain West conference released the updated 2020-21 conference basketball schedule on Tuesday morning. The new format emphasizes the health and safety of student-athletes, coaches and staff while significantly reducing travel. Fan numbers reduced for UW home games, now 5,000 at the War, 2000 at the AA

The University of Wyoming Athletics Department announced on Tuesday that it is reducing the number of fans who will be allowed to attend home football and basketball games through the end of December 2020.   Football attendance is being reduced from a maximum of 7,000 fans per game to a maximum of 5,000 fans per game for the remainder of the 2020 season.  UW basketball attendance will be set at a maximum of 2,000 fans per game through the end of December 2020.  Those attendance numbers equate to 17 percent of capacity for both Wyoming’s War Memorial Stadium and Arena-Auditorium. CWC Harriers Finish Season: Two runners at Nationals

The Central Wyoming College Cross Country team has completed it’s 7th season, sending two runners to Nationals at Fort Dodge, Iowa.  Despite the weather (38 degrees and windy), the runners competed well. Nationals were run a little different this year due to Covid-19.  Instead of having all runners race at one time, the races were split into three (D1, D2 and D3).  Central’s runners raced in the D1 heat against 146 other runners.  Jayden Yates Advertisement  was the top runner for CWC, placing 51st with a time of 27:42.  Freshman Kameron Brough placed 96th with a time of 29:18.  The overall winner […]

The Wyoming Cowboys will return to Jonah Field at War Memorial Stadium on Thursday night to host one of their oldest rivals in the Utah State Aggies.  The game is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m., Mountain Time and will be the 71st meeting between the two schools.  The game will be broadcast on radio over the 25 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network, beginning with the pregame show at 5:30 p.m., M.T.  CBS Sports Network will be televising the game live nationally.
