Pumpkin Trail Winners Announced at Riverton Museum

The 3rd Annual Pumpkin Trail was held at the Riverton Museum on October 15th. At the event, local businesses donated pumpkins that were carved or decorated a total of 111 pumpkins to be on display during the event and the pumpkins were also entered into a contest to help raise money for the museum. During the event a cup was placed in front of the each pumpkin and visitors could vote for their favorite pumpkin with their loose change. The pumpkins with the highest dollar amounts in their cups would win the contest at the 3rd Annual Pumpkin Trail.

First place this year was a wacky witch pumpkin decorated by June Bailey from Bailey’s Pit Stop and Auto Service. Second place this year was a pumpkin painted like a Minion by the Riverton Garden Club. Third place this year was a cute carved bear entered by team consisting of employees from Bar 10 and 307 Financial Services.

At the end of the event the Riverton Museum staff also took a vote on which pumpkin was their favorite. This year’s Staff’s Choice Award went to a sparkly Tinkerbelle decorated pumpkin. Thank you to all the local businesses who participated in this year’s Pumpkin Trail and we look forward to seeing next year’s creative decorated pumpkins.
