Lander Police responded to 33 calls for service over the past 72 hours ending at 7 a.m. Monday morning. From the call log: Police were called to an address at an apartment building on Popo Agie Street on a report of an ex-husband assaulting his former wife and a daughter. Police have the incident under investigation. A tool box was reported missing from the back of a truck on South Second Street. It was unknown then the tools went missing. Snowfall resulted in several slip and slide crashes

Riverton Police received 21 calls for service on Monday. Items of note from the call blotter include: There were several reports of vehicles sliding off of roadways in the Riverton area due to the fresh snowfall and slippery streets. The theft of a wallet was reported by a patient at SageWest Health Care Hospital on Sunday evening. A sexual assault reported at 9:21 a.m. on Monday is under investigation in the Riverton area. Over the past 24 hours ending at 7 a.m. Tuesday, the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office reports receiving 45 calls for service. Of those calls, 11 were for a county ambulance. There were no fire calls. Six persons were booked into the Fremont County Detention Center which is now responsible for 204 inmates, including one who is on home detention and 15 inmates being housed outside of the county. Riverton Police responded to 73 calls for service in the 72 hours that ended at 7 a.m. on Monday, 1-27, a.m. Loaf ‘N Jug on North Federal reported a group of girls entered the store and took a sleeve of CBD Disposables without paying. A vehicle struck a fire hydrant on Blackfoot Avenue. A firearm was taken from a vehicle on Saturday. There were 38 calls to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center on Thursday, including 18 ambulance calls and two fire calls. Four persons were booked into the Detention Center, which today is responsible for 205 inmates, including one inmate on home detention and 15 being held in jails outside of the county. Lander Police responded to 16 calls for service on Thursday. From the call log: There was a two vehicle fender bender reported at Cascade and Mcdougal Streets at 2:16 p.m. Thursday. An active investigation is underway into the reported theft of a wallet and a firearm stolen from a truck on Cascade Street. Police assisted a resident on Garfield Street who called in a panic reporting the bathtub was three-fourths full and they could not get the water turned off. Riverton Police responded to 29 calls for service on Wednesday. From the call log: A female attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at a business in the 1000 block of North Federal. The woman’s image was captured on video. It was in his pocket the whole time. A man reported losing his cellular phone at More Burgers. Staff said they saw him put the phone in his pocket. Detention Center housing 195 inmates in Lander

There were 37 calls to the Fremont County Dispatch Center at the Sheriff’s Office in Lander on Wednesday.
