Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney, the third ranking Republican in the House of Representatives, announced yesterday that she will vote to impeach President Donald Trump. In a statement, Cheney said Trump incited the attack on the U.S. Capitol building by his followers and that he could have “immediately and forcefully intervened to stop the violence,” but did not. She further stated that “there has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution.”
