Pedestrian struck; West Main Pit Stop break-in reported

A pedestrian was struck in a crosswalk at Pershing and North Broadway. An ambulance was summoned. No further details were released.

A resident in the 400 block of East Sunset called police for help after a dog foaming at the mouth would not let them out of their vehicle. A report is pending.

A female drive was contacted in the 1000 block of North Federal after callers reported she was texting and driving and slowing traffic. The woman was warned not to text and drive.

The Loaf ‘N Jug on North Federal reported some teenagers entered the store and vandalized the rest room. They left the store in a gray vehicle. A license plate number was obtained. A report is pending.

A break-in at the West Main Pit Stop was reported just after 4 a.m. Wednesday morning. The front door and window by the cash registers was broken out. . Police are investigating.
