Cheney supports NEPA Modernization

Wyoming Congresswoman and House GOP Conference Chair Liz Cheney (R-WY) has joined 129 of her House Republican colleagues in sending a letter to the Chairman of the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ), Mary Neumayr, supporting the council’s efforts to modernize the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

The letter highlights how NEPA has been abused by far-left environmental extremists to delay countless energy and infrastructure projects across the country with unnecessary red tape. The letter encourages CEQ to continue on its current, legal timeline to finalize the rulemaking which would streamline environmental regulations. The full letter can be seen here
