Vandalism, runaways, child abuse alleged and more

The Riverton Police received 84 calls for service over the weekend, ending at 7 a.m. on Monday. From the call log:

A window was reported broken out of a Ford Taurus with a rock in the 300 block of East Monroe.

A window was also broken out of a building in the 500 block of South Federal.

A property destruction was reported in the 700 block of West Main where someone had tried to pry a monitor out of a 2005 Yukon Denali SUV.

Some kids playing baseball in the 900 block of Sunset dented a rental car at the location. A report was taken,

The Fremont County Group Home reported three juvenile males were taken downtown to take part in the Friday Night Cruise. The three took the opportunity to run away. A report was taken.

A hit and run collision was reported at the Little League Baseball complex on Smith Road when a green Dodge truck struck a silver Ford F-150 and left the scene.

A resident on Blackfoot Avenue reported coming home finding their front door open, their cat gone and money and makeup missing. A report was taken.

A report of abuse of a child was taken from an address on Forest Drive. The incident is under investigation.

A man shooting a bow and arrow in city park while teaching his kids was asked not to shoot arrows in the park.

The Maverik Country Store on West Main reported receiving and confiscating a counterfeit $100 bill. Information on the party who passed the bill was taken.

Arrested 37-year-old female from Oklahoma, Jeralyn Meyers for Driving while under the influence and Riverton Municipal Warrant
