Google Days Scheduled Across Fremont County, Riverton/Dubois

Riverton and Dubois to hold Google Day for Street View Updates

The Wind River Visitors Council (WRVC) and Truly360 have partnered to give Fremont County/Wind River Country an updated, exciting look on Google. That starts with shooting new Street View content.

On Wednesday, June 26, the Google car will drive down Main Street at 9 a.m. and Federal Boulevard at 11 a.m., shooting new Street View images. This is your opportunity as residents and business owners to make Riverton shine online. Display flags, flowers, your business’s wares, even signs or costumes for people to enjoy when they Google the town. Contact the Riverton Chamber of Commerce with additional ideas for Google Day on Main Street.

On Friday, June 21 at 10 a.m., the Google car will drive down Main Street, from the Military Museum to Lava Mountain Lodge, shooting new Street View images. This is your opportunity as residents and business owners to make Dubois shine online. Display flags, flowers, your business’s wares, even signs or costumes for people to enjoy when they Google the area. Contact the Dubois Chamber of Commerce with additional ideas for Google Day on Main Street.

The WRVC and Truly360 will also shoot panoramic images of other main routes in the Fremont County area that week, so take some time to tidy up your yards and clean up your streets to put the County’s best foot forward online.
