Riverton’s Treyton Paxton scored 11 points Friday night in Billings but the Wyoming Boys All-Stars lost lead in the final minutes to drop a 103-100 decision to Montana’s All-Stars. In the girls contest, Montana pulled away for a big 84-66 win. Wyoming Indian’s Alex Trosper had one point in the Girls game.
Saturday night in Sheridan, Paxton hit for 16 and the Wyoming Boys lost a nail biter 95-94 for Montana’s 16th consecutive win in the series. In the Girls game, for the second night in a row it was All Montana as the Big Sky Girls rolled to an 89-46 win. Alex Trosper of Wyoming Indian led the Wyoming Girls with 8 points. The Montana Girls have now won seven straight games in the series.
Also scoring in double figures for the boys Friday night was Laramie’s Hudda Curry-Herrera who scored 10. He has close ties to the Wind River Reservation.
Friday’s game was played at the Montana State University-Billings Alterowitz Gymnasium and Saturday’s game was at Sheridan College’s Golden Dome.
