LPD: Lots of false alarms on Wednesday

The Lander Police Department received 14 calls for service on Wednesday, a day for unfounded emergency calls . A report of a structure fire on Garfield Street was unfounded. A panic alarm that went off in a business in the 600 block of Main Street was also unfounded, as was a panic alarm on North 2nd Street. Three arrests were reported.

On Tuesday, Police received a report of two dogs allegedly attacking a pedestrian on North Second Street. The incident remains under investigation. The victim is reported to be okay and did not want to press charges. A hit and run vehicle collision was reported in the parking lot at the Silver Spur Bowling Lanes. Police are investigating. There were no arrests on Tuesday.
