Riverton teen to prison for nearly two years on Federal charges

A 19-year-old Riverton man, Ryder Storm Jenkins, has been sentenced to 23 months in prison to be followed by 36 months of supervised release. Jenkins received the sentence from Chief Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl in Casper on May 5th.

Jenkins was convicted of two counts of assaulting and resisting persons assisting federal law enforcement officers. He was arrested in Casper.

Jenkins was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $2,353.89 and a $200 special assessment. The Natrona County Sheriff’s Office and the US Marshals Service investigated the case.
