Deputies arrest one; Cows out on Eight Mile Road

There were 50 calls for service registered at the county sheriff’s office on Thursday and early Friday morning. The calls included dispatching ambulances 18 times.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.

From the call log:

A verbal fight between two individuals was reported in the 2100 block of the Missouri Valley Road.

Cattle seem to be breaking out of their pasture along the Eight Mile Road with some regularity. There were two such reports on Thursday.

A caller from Hudson reported two dogs were locked in a vehicle without the windows rolled down.

An assault to a male juvenile was reported at the Fremont County Boys Group home in Riverton.

Deputies were searching for a vehicle involved in a hit and run. They found one matching the damage. Deputies said it appeared the vehicle backed into another one.

There were no fire calls on Thursday.
