An All-Star performer for Riverton Wolverine Athletics, Treyton Paxton has decided to continue his athletic skills in college on the basketball court. On Monday, Paxton signed to play in his home town of Riverton with the Central Wyoming College Rustlers.
Paxton was a member of Riverton’s only State Championship basketball team and he’s been all conference in both football and basketball. In fact he won the Flaming Gorge Slam Dunk Contest this year.
In the classroom, Paxton carries a 3.58 GPA and ranks 28th in a class of 160.
Treyton is also active in the community as a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, member of the Cornerstone Church, he serves as a youth basketball and football coach, conducted an anti-bullying seminar for fourth and fifth grade students and read and discussed books with third grade students for Literacy Day.
