The Fremont County Sheriff’s Dispatch Center received 53 calls for service in the last 24 hours ending at 7 a.m. this morning. Of those calls, 19 were for a county ambulance and area fire departments were dispatched once. Four persons were booked into the county detention center which has an inmate population Wednesday of 185. Two of those inmates are being housed outside of the county.

A person in Hudson who tried to break up a fight between two dogs was bitten in the attempt.
Locks were reportedly cut off some storage units near Lander. Deputies are investigating.
Two small dogs were found out by Lysite on Badwater Road running at large. They were taken into Shoshoni.
A resident in the Crowheart area accidentally cut off the tip of one finger and sliced his hand open while using a skill saw. The man was taken to the hospital in Lander via ambulance.
A resident in Gardens North reported a speed limit sign near their development had been stolen. The caller also complained about speeding cars in that area.
The Dubois Fire District responded to a shed on fire in the 4500 block of US Highway 26. about 10 miles west of Dubois.
There were three controlled burns reported in the Dubois area Tuesday, one in Paradise Valley outside of Riverton, One in Hudson and One in Jeffrey City.
