The U.S. Small Business Administration will be hosting two events in Riverton this Wednesday, April 24th. The first workshop from 1-4:30 at the Riverton Branch Library will be a contracting workshop helping local contractors learn how to sell their products and services to the Federal Government. Representatives from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Forest Service and the Wind River Job Corps Center are slated to attend.
The second workshop will be focused on how to obtain micro-loans from the Wyoming Women’s Business Center and small business loans available from the WIDC’s Frontier Community Development Corporation, a non-profit. The workshops are open to small businsses of any size and industry. There will also be representatives available from the U.S.D.A.’s Rural Development program to discuss their agencies loans and grants. The evening meeting is set from 6-8 p.m. at the Riverton Branch Library, 1330 West Park.
