Jereko Martinez played multiple sports at Wind River High School, but the sport he just signed a Letter of Intent for is not a Wyoming High School sanctioned sport.

Fortunately for Martinez, the state has an American Legion Baseball Program, and Martinez has been spending his summers, including this coming season, playing baseball for Troy Brown’s Riverton Raiders.

Martinez pitches, plays shortstop and is an outfielder for the Raiders. Last season Riverton overall went 31-18 in games.

Martinez played against teams in the Legion’s “A” West division. Opponents included the Cody Cubs, Lovell Mustangs, Powell Pioneers and the Green River Knights. Against conference opponents, the Raiders went 6-4 last season.
