Fremont County Crime Report: Arrests

Lander Police handled seven calls for service on Tuesday, including assisting the Lander Volunteer Fire Department for a kitchen fire at a residence on Wood Street. There was one arrest on a domestic violence incident, 23-year-old Isaiah Trujillo was taken into  custody for an alleged assault . The victim was treated and released.

The Riverton Police were dispatched on 24 calls Tuesday. Included in the call log was three reports of vandalism to vehicles, one in the in 100 block of North 12th East; a rock was thrown through a vehicle window in the 200 block of Diamond Drive and a window broken out of a vehicle in the 700 block of North 16th East.  There were two reports of vehicle collisions on Tuesday, including a two vehicle crash in the 900 block of North Federal at 4 pm. Between an SUV and a pickup and a hit and run to a pickup in the 200 block of Mesquite Drive. A bicycle described as green in color was taken just prior to 5 p.m. from an address in the 400 block of Spire Drive. Police are also investigating the report of a sexual assault that was called in at 6:39 p.m. There were three arrests on Tuesday.

Patrick Arthur, 37, Arapahoe, Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office had 28 calls for service and six persons were booked into the county jail, which currently has a local roster of 172 inmates with two subjects being held outside of the county.  The call log included a stranded motorist on the Crooks Gap Road outside of Jeffrey City where a driver high centered their vehicle in snow and reportedly did not have any extra clothes with them. The vehicle was located by deputies and given a ride to safety. There were 13 ambulance calls on Tuesday. There were no arrests reported.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law
