Severe Weather Awareness Week for Central Wyoming begins today, Monday, April 1st. Each day the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Riverton will explore a new topic stressing the importance of severe weather safety. Today’s topic is knowing your “safe place”. It’s the most essential preparedness activity to save your life from extreme weather, according to the weather service. Take some time to find that safe place. A reminder, that on Wednesday there will be a NOAA Weather Radio Tornado Drill at 1 pm.
