Wet Nose Wednesday Featured Pets

These local pets are looking for a loving place to call home!

From the Lander Pet Connection let us introduce Josie the Dog and Mary-Kate and Ashley the Cat!

Call Lander Pet Connection at 330-5220 or see our website www.landerpets.org for more information on this program designed to reduce the number of unwanted animals in our area.

Wilson1Wilson sleeps in a kennel at night and really enjoys chilling out in his kennel during the day in his down time. He loves water, hiking, sitting in the front seat of a vehicle, running around with kids (if he really loves you, he’ll try to back up to you and sit on your lap, thinking he’s a lap dog), and is playful with small animals. Wilson is good around horses and cows, however, he is a little too fond of sheep and cannot be around them. Wilson knows how to sit, shake and gives high fives to anyone over 4′ tall. Wilson does like to jump up on people as if he’s giving them a hug, so he will need some work on that. Wilson is also a fence jumper, but not a wanderer. He is neutered, house trained and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $85.

Andrea dogs 4-2-15 088Lulu is an adorable and playful 1 year old Labrador Retriever mix but is having troubles finding a home just because she is a black dog. Lulu loves other dogs and would be a great companion for another active dog. We had a volunteer take Lulu on a 5k run where she did fabulous and really enjoyed the exercise, people and fun environment. Lulu needs an active owner and will not be satisfied just sitting in a yard all the time. If you need a walking, hiking or jogging partner then Lulu is your girl! She is also great around kids and will be an extremely fun dog to have around. Lulu’s adoption fee is $80.00 which includes the spay, vaccinations, de worming and micro chip.
