Wet Nose Wednesday Featured Pets

These local pets are looking for a loving place to call home!

From the Lander Pet Connection let us introduce Atlas the Dog and Cleo the Cat!

Call Lander Pet Connection at 330-5220 or see our website www.landerpets.org for more information on this program designed to reduce the number of unwanted animals in our area.

AtlasAtlas came to us as a puppy that broke with parvo almost immediately, landing him at the vet for a long stint. From there, he went into a wonderful home that unfortunately was unable to keep him. After a short stint where he was re-homed, he ended up back at LPC, through no fault of his own. Because of his constantly changing puppy-hood, Atlas wants and needs lots of love! Once he has your attention, he calms right down and melts into your lap. Atlas was born around June 15, 2014 and is a gorgeous brindle pit mix. He adores other dogs and did great in his first home with the resident kitties and small children. Atlas is house trained, neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, micro-chipped and his adoption fee is $85.

CleoCleo is a shy gal with a loud purr that gives away her true personality as a total love bug! Cleo was fending for herself within Lander city limits but had obviously been in a household at some point. She is a Siamese kitty with a sprinkling of calico that shows up on her nose. Cleo gets along with the other passive kitties and would do well in a home without a bossy feline. Cleo is roughly three years old, up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and her adoption fee is $35.

From Riverton “Paws for Life” here’s Bear the Dog and King the Cat

Call Paws for Life at 857-6002 or online at www.pawsforliferiverton.org

kingKing is a handsome 1 year old Main Coon kitty cat! King is very unique because it is extremely rare for a tortishell colored cat to be male. King is very social and loves attention. He is also litter box trained but does not care for other cats…He is a king and would prefer ruling his household all by himself.
bearBear is a wonderful dog who is about 1 1/2 years old. Bear is a German Shepherd mix and is currently in our Honor Dog Program. He will graduate soon and will be ready to go strait into a new home. They have told us that Bear is doing awesome in the program and learns very quickly! He is eager to please and a very smart boy! Don’t miss out on the chance to adopt this wonderful dog who comes fully trained and has a sweet and affectionate personality. His adoption fee is $100 which includes the neuter, vaccinations, de worming, micro chip and training.
