Wet Nose Wednesday Featured Pets

These local pets are looking for a loving place to call home!

From the Lander Pet Connection let us introduce Thor the Dog and Amara the Cat!

Call Lander Pet Connection at 330-5220 or see our website www.landerpets.org for more information on this program designed to reduce the number of unwanted animals in our area.

thorThor is one laid back little dude! He is single handedly dispelling the rumors about little dogs being yippy! Thor is a six year Chihuahua and is rather large for a Chihuahua, but still weighing in at under ten pounds. He was so pumped to be getting attention that he didn’t realize he was getting vaccinated! He is great with other dogs, has lived with a kitty and should be an easy adjustment to any household. He is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and his adoption fee is $85.

amaraAmara has been a bit shy since coming to the Pet Connection and intergrating with all the bustle and loose kitties, but if you overlook her she lets you know with an indignant meow followed by some very loud purring! Amara is a smaller kitty that we think is just about a year old. She is very affectionate and probably would prefer to be in a home that isn’t as crazy as the Pet Connection (which should be pretty easy to find!). Amara has been spayed, is up to date on her vaccinations and her adoption fee is $35.

From Riverton “Paws for Life” here’s Bear the Dog and King the Cat

Call Paws for Life at 857-6002 or online at www.pawsforliferiverton.org

kingKing is a handsome 1 year old Main Coon kitty cat! King is very unique because it is extremely rare for a tortishell colored cat to be male. King is very social and loves attention. He is also litter box trained but does not care for other cats…He is a king and would prefer ruling his household all by himself.
bearBear is a wonderful dog who is about 1 1/2 years old. Bear is a German Shepherd mix and is currently in our Honor Dog Program. He will graduate soon and will be ready to go strait into a new home. They have told us that Bear is doing awesome in the program and learns very quickly! He is eager to please and a very smart boy! Don’t miss out on the chance to adopt this wonderful dog who comes fully trained and has a sweet and affectionate personality. His adoption fee is $100 which includes the neuter, vaccinations, de worming, micro chip and training.
