Wet Nose Wednesday Featured Pets

These local pets are looking for a loving place to call home!

From the Lander Pet Connection let us introduce Kira the Dog and Cleo the Cat!

Call Lander Pet Connection at 330-5220 or see our website www.landerpets.org for more information on this program designed to reduce the number of unwanted animals in our area.

Meet Kira! She is a Doberman mix, approximately 1 year old. Kira was found wandering outside of Riverton’s city limits on January 18th. Kira decided she wanted to check out Lander so she caught a warm ride with a kind citizen. Kira definitely likes to play and go on walks but she is pretty mellow for a one year old pup! She is great with other dogs and kids. Kira is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and her adoption fee is $85.

Cleo is a shy gal with a loud purr that gives away her true personality as a total love bug!  Cleo was fending for herself within Lander city limits but had obviously been in a household at some point.  She is a Siamese kitty with a sprinkling of calico that shows up on her nose.  Cleo gets along with the other passive kitties and would do well in a home without a bossy feline.  Cleo is roughly three years old, up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and her adoption fee is $35

From Riverton “Paws for Life” here’s Gabe the Dog and Chico the Cat

Call Paws for Life at 857-6002 or online at www.pawsforliferiverton.org

gabeGabe is a handsome 10 month old Shepherd, Lab and Weimaraner mix. Gabe is a very happy and playful boy who loves other dogs and will be perfect for a household with kids. Gabe appears to be potty trained because he tries very hard to not have an accident in his kennel here at the shelter. He also does not lift his leg which we know can be a huge plus for owners of male dogs. Gabe loves to go on walks and as you can see in the picture loves his ball! His adoption fee is $80.00 which includes the neuter, vaccinations, de worming and micro chip.
chicoChico is an adorable 1 year old Black and white tuxedo tabby. Which is actually quite rare for us to see around here! So we think Chico is a very special boy. Chico is extremely playful and will do ok in a home with another active cat but will drive older more mellow cats crazy. Chico is litter box trained and very affectionate towards people. He likes lots of attention and will keep your family laughing at his quirky, rambunctious personality.
