Wet Nose Wednesday Featured Pets

These local pets are looking for a loving place to call home!

From the Lander Pet Connection let us introduce Luna the Dog and Radar the Cat!

Call Lander Pet Connection at 330-5220 or see our website www.landerpets.org for more information on this program designed to reduce the number of unwanted animals in our area.

Radar1Radar is absolutely HUGE.  No two ways about it!  Our BIG love bug needs to lose about ten pounds to ensure a long, healthy life.  Radar came to us when his elderly owner needed to change his living arrangements.  Radar is a nine year old, big ole pile of purrs, great with kids and very tolerant of the other kitties at LPC.  He is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and his adoption fee is $35.
Luna1Luna joined LPC las an owner surrender, after several, er, incidents with cats. Luna is a 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier, maybe mixed with a little bulldog.  Luna is good with other dogs, humans of all sizes but needs to be in a cat-free home. She likes neck rubs, being silly (especially when she gets excited) and giving kisses.  Luna has done a great job working on her basic manners and learning to walk on a leash.  Luna is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and her adoption fee is $85.

From Riverton “Paws for Life” here’s Simba the Dog

Call Paws for Life at 857-6002 or online at www.pawsforliferiverton.org

simbaSimba is a handsome 7 month old Labrador Retriever mix. Simba was brought to the shelter because his owner was unable to properly care for him. We were very happy to find out that Simba adores kids and loves other dogs. He also appears to be potty trained because he holds it in his kennel for as long as he can until someone takes him outside on a walk. Simba’s adoption fee is $80.00 which includes the neuter, vaccinations, de wormer and micro chip.
