Wet Nose Wednesday Featured Pets

These local pets are looking for a loving place to call home!

From the Lander Pet Connection let us introduce Comet the Dog and Gracie the Cat!

Call Lander Pet Connection at 330-5220 or see our website www.landerpets.org for more information on this program designed to reduce the number of unwanted animals in our area.

CometComet is a 5 year old Lab/Collie mix that was surrendered to the Davis County facility in Utah by her owners because they were moving and couldn’t take her with them. When you greet Comet at her kennel she will bark like you’re not welcome, but when she leaves her kennel she’s very loving and can’t seem to get enough belly rubs! Don’t let her age fool you though – she is full of energy and loves to play! Comet is house trained, gets along great with other days and loves humans of all ages. She is working on not pulling on walks, but sometimes it’s tough because they are so much fun! Comet is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and her adoption fee is $85.

GracieGracie is a big fan of getting some affection and has no problem hitting up every visitor to LPC! Gracie is a Russian Blue kitty that is roughly two years old. She came to LPC after her owners moved and left her behind. Gracie likes to be top kitty and as long as the others understand that, she gets along fine with the other LPC cats. Gracie is great with kids and stands her own with dogs. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and her adoption fee is $35.

DAISYDaisy is a beautiful and sweet 1 1/2 year old Catahoula mix. Daisy is already potty trained and gets along well with other dogs. She is a very gentle and quiet dog who loves attention and is sure to win over your heart with her big puppy dog eyes.
