Leda was born on December 17, 1935 in West Hamlin, West Virginia, daughter of Eddie and Sarah Amanda (Boothe) Alberts.
During her younger years, Leda enjoyed singing in a band and worked in a factory and as a waitress. She loved to sing in church during her entire life and was of the Christian faith. Leda had the heart of a caretaker, lovingly caring for her own children, including children that weren’t hers.
Survivors include her son, Tell Burns of Lander, David Burns of Bartlesville, OK, and Paul Perrin, Jr. of Greenville, Ohio; daughters, Bonnie Hardin of TN, Paula Solomon of TN, Penny Perrin of Phoenix, AZ and Kelly Lewis of Nebraska; sister, Wanda Jean Collins of Milton, West Virginia; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Deanna Burns and Elaine Perrin and sister, Betty Lewis.
