Lander man pleads not guilty to attempted murder

LANDER — A man from Lander has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder charges for a shooting south of Lander. Our news partner reports that Jeremy Wade Cunningham was arraigned Wednesday in District Court.

He faces three counts of attempted murder in the second degree and three counts of aggravated assault and battery in connection to the incident which happened on Jan. 31. The 35-year-old faces 60 years to life in prison if convicted on all three of the attempted murder charges.

He is alleged to have shot rifle rounds into a Dodge pickup truck on Deer Valley Road that had two people inside.
