GASOLINE PRICES TO BE HIGHER

gas buddy(Boston) – Motorists may get some sticker shock in 2017 as the national yearly average price for gasoline rises to $2.49 per gallon.

GasBuddy’s 2017 Fuel Price Outlook says the average price for gas this year will probably be 36-cents higher than in 2016.

That would mean drivers will spend $52 billion more on fuel this year than they did last year.

GasBuddy also predicts three-dollar gasoline will be seen in the nation’s largest cities.
