FORT WASHAKIE MURDER CASE TO TRIAL

gavel(Cheyenne) – A man accused of shooting his wife to death in Fort Washakie back in November has rejected a plea agreement and will go to trial on a charge of First Degree Murder.

Koby Dean Johnson will also face an additional charge of Causing Death through the Use of a Firearm.

Prosecutors offered the defendant an agreement where he would have pleaded guilty to Second Degree Murder in the death of Racheal Noel Johnson.

Johnson’s defense apparently intends to argue the shooting was in self defense when the case goes to trial June 13.
