Sinks Canyon Summer Series: Kids Concert in the Canyon: Calling all children to join for a musical day in the park! Sing-along, create an instrument, and much more. On Friday at 8:15pm the LVHS Astronomy Club will have a Presentation and Night Sky Observing Session. Take a close look at the moon! Thirty-minute presentation by club members in the Auditorium, followed by observing on the football field.. This free event will be held at the Lander Valley High School.

**Jam Sessions at the Lander Bake Shop are on Saturdays 12-2. All acoustic instruments, kinds of music, ages and abilities are welcome.
On Saturday The Shippen family will guide this Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek to their historic family cabin on the Wiggins Fork. This is a moderate to strenuous hike. The cost of the trek is $6 and transportation is provided to the trailhead. The tour will last from 9:30am-2pm. Advanced registration required call the Dubois Museum at 455-2284
Celebrate Lander’s Community Concert Series’ 70th Anniversary with a Barn Dance at the Museum of the American West Livery Stable on Saturday! Grab your partner and come scoot your boot from 7-11pm. There will be an Art auction, refreshments, live music from Barcode & Eric Flom. There is a suggested $5 donation.

The Pageant Days Parade will be on Saturday in downtown Thermopolis. Parade starts at 10am
The 3rd Annual Big Horn Basin Folk Festival will be held Saturday & Sunday in Hot Springs State Park. The festival celebrates the handwork and creativity of Wyoming’s own artists craftsmen, musicians and storytellers. This event is open to the public without charge. The festival is held the same weekend as the Gift of the Waters Pageant Days. The Pageant tells how the hot springs were given to the state by the Native Americans on the Wind River Reservation.
